Missouri District of the Lutheran Laymen's League

Welcome to the home page for the Missouri District of the International Lutheran Laymen's League!

The Missouri District of the LLL is one of nearly thirty districts throughout the United States that supports many outreach efforts of Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM). Included among these ministries is The Lutheran Hour, first broadcast in 1930 and which remains today as the longest running Gospel-oriented radio program in broadcasting history. Each week The Lutheran Hour is heard by over one million listeners around the world.

In addition to the Lutheran Hour, LHM provides a wealth of Bible-based resources for children and adults, and for Bible study groups and congregations, and reaches out to people around the world through international ministry programs in more than 40 countries.  For more information on Lutheran Hour Ministries and the International Lutheran Laymen’s League, please visit the home website for Lutheran Hour Ministries at http://www.lhm.org.

The Missouri District of the LLL was founded in 1942 and has supported the International LLL for nearly eighty years. In addition to promoting the ministries of LHM in our District, we also support through our special projects the ministry center for LHM in Vietnam, Bible Correspondence Courses in many international locations, and an annual banquet for graduating students at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. Our District also hosts a booth at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia to share the Gospel with many people who attend the fair.

If you are interested in learning about or becoming a part of this ministry, please reach out to one of the leaders of the Missouri District LLL through the “Leaders” dropdown menu on this webpage. We have also provided a menu ("LHM Links") to help you connect with some of the many programs of Lutheran Hour Ministries.

May God bless you today and always!
